Choosing the Printer

The following procedure describes how to choose the printer using Apple's
Chooser utility.
1. Click on the Apple icon.
2. Select Chooser to display the Chooser screen.

AppleTalk Zones:
App_TEST
Corporate
Marketing
Engineering
NOTE: The Chooser screen above will show AppleTalk zones only if your network has more
than one zone.
3. Select LaserWriter 8, then choose NC2_123456 from the list of available
printers.
4. Click on Setup AppleTalk, then click on Select PPD . . . .
5. Highlight the proper PPD file for your Printer.
Example: 550_US.PPD
6. Click on Select.
7. When finished, click on OK, then close the Chooser Utility.
