4.2.2.1 LGA775 Processor Socket
The Land Grid Array (LGA) 775 socket on the evaluation board differs from previous CPU
sockets. The socket is released in a two-step process. First, lift the cam lever. Next, lift the
load plate by pressing on the small metal tab at the end of the socket. Please view the
enclosed installation instructions prior to inserting a CPU as the socket can be easily
damaged.
