3.3.3.1 Gigabit LAN Subsystem
The Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbits/sec) LAN subsystem includes the Intel
Ethernet Controller and an RJ-45 LAN connector with integrated status LEDs.
The 82573E controller supports the following features:

3.3.3.2 RJ-45 LAN Connector with Integrated LEDs
Two LEDs are built into the RJ-45 LAN connector (as shown in Figure 9). Table 7
describes the LED states when the board is powered up and the Gigabit LAN subsystem is
operating.
