To save and delete Bridge workspaces
You can save the current Bridge layout (that is, the work area configuration) as a workspace and reuse it later. By
saving Bridge in various configurations, you can work in (and quickly switch between) different layouts of the work
area. For instance, you might use one workspace to sort new photos and another to work with Adobe InDesign
Choose Window > Workspace, followed by one of these commands:
Saves the current Bridge layout as a workspace so that you can reuse it later, even if you move a
Save Workspace
panel or change the view in the content area. If you choose this command, enter a name for the workspace and click
Save. You can also assign a keyboard shortcut to the workspace and specify whether to save the location of the Bridge
window as part of the workspace.
Deletes the saved workspace. If you choose this command, choose the workspace from the menu,
Delete Workspace
and click Delete.

To set Bridge preferences
Choose Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Bridge > Preferences (Mac OS).

Select any of the preferences categories on the left:
Controls the general appearance settings.
General
Controls which sections and fields are displayed in the Metadata panel.
Metadata
Assigns names to each color label and specifies whether you need to press Ctrl as part of the keyboard
Labels
shortcut combination to apply labels and ratings to files.
Specifies which application to use from Bridge to open files of the named type. For any file
File Type Associations
type, you can click the name of the application (or None) and click Browse to locate an application to use. You can
also reset the file type associations to their default settings as well as hide any file types that don't have an associated
application. This affects only those files that you open with Bridge, and overrides the Explorer (Windows) and Finder
(Mac OS) settings.
Specifies Adobe Stock Photos settings.

Specifies advanced settings, including cache options and language options.

Click OK.
