Specifies whether the layer break for dual-layer discs is set automatically by Adobe Encore DVD or
Layer Break
manually.
To specify a layer break
Dual-layer discs must have a layer break—the point at which the DVD player switches from the first layer to the
second. Ideally, Adobe Encore DVD creates the layer break (also called layer transition) between timelines or menus,
making a smooth transition (since it jumps layers at a point where no content is playing). If it cannot find a spot that
satisfies these requirements, Adobe Encore DVD enables the Layer Break setting. When the Layer Break setting is
enabled, you can specify the break manually, or let the application do it automatically.
Choose File > Build DVD, and choose the option corresponding to the type of file you want to build.

chapter point exists, Adobe Encore DVD uses the midpoint of the range (per the timecode) as the default location.
Opens the Set Layer Transition dialog box. Set the layer break at either a chapter point or a specific frame
