Monitoring System Health

There are two methods for displaying the current state of your system health
and monitoring the hardware status:
• Using the Dashboard page (to access the Health page via the HW State
hyperlink)
Using Dashboard Health (to access the Health page from the

navigation panel)

Using the Dashboard Page

To use the Dashboard page to display the current system hardware status:
1 Click Dashboard.
The Dashboard page is displayed and provides a HW State hyperlink in
the System Status bar (for example, HW State optimal).
2 Click HW State hyperlink (in this example, optimal) to display the Health
page.
This is the place to view the status of the chassis front and rear panel
components. The System Hardware Health table lists the status for all
major components of the DR4000 system.
NOTE:
This method is convenient when you are already at the Dashboard
page and want to display more information about System Status.

Using the Dashboard Health Option

To use the navigation panel to display the current system Health status:
1 Click Dashboard Health.
The Health page is displayed.
2 View the status of the chassis front and rear panel components. The
System Hardware Health table lists the status for all major components of
the DR4000 system.
