Understanding the Storage Options
The DR4000 system provides the mechanism for storing backed up and
deduplicated data that is ingested by the system, into easily accessible storage
containers. The DR4000 system GUI simplifies the process for storing backed
up and deduplicated data by using its system storage processes.
Containers
In the Container Summary page, you can view the total number of
containers, create new containers, edit or delete existing containers, and
display statistics for files, protocols, and replication states for all existing
containers.
The central summary table lists entries that provide the following container-
related summary information:
•
Containers: listed by name
•
Files: number of files per container
•
File access protocol supported: Network File System (NFS), Common
Internet File System (CIFS), or both
•
Replication state: Online, Offline, Paused, or Disabled (a replication
relationship has not been established)
NOTE:
Use Select to identify the container on which you want to perform an action.
For example, click Select and click Display Statistics to display the Statistics:
Container page for the container you selected.
