Replication

In the Replication page, you can create a new replication relationship, edit or
delete an existing replication relationship, start or stop replication between a
replication pair, set the bandwidth (or speed limit) for the replication process,
or display statistics for an existing replication relationship.
This page displays a summary table that lists:
Local Container Name
Role (with source or target destination for data replication)
Remote Container Name (IP address or hostname)
Peer State (Online, Offline, Paused, and Disconnected)
NOTE:
When started, the Peer State displays the status as
selected container. When stopped, the Peer State initially displays the status
Paused
as
, and then
Bandwidth (settings include kilobytes per second, megabytes per
second, gigabytes per second, or default, a bandwidth unlimited setting)
NOTE:
Click Select to identify the replication relationship on which you want
to perform an action. For example, click Select  Display Statistics to display
the Statistics: Replication page for the container you selected.

Compression

In the Compression page, you can set or modify the data compression level to
use with your data. To set or modify the setting, select the compression level
setting from these options:
Fast—provides a shorter backup time that results in less space savings
(this is the default setting).
Best—provides the highest space savings that results in the compression
execution taking longer to complete.

About the Schedule Page and Options

In the Schedule page, you can set a new or modify an existing schedule for
two very important DR4000 system processes: data replication and disk space
reclamation (the latter is referred to as the Cleaner process in this guide).
The Schedule page displays the currently configured schedules that perform:
D E L L C O N F I D E N T I A L – P R E L I M I N A R Y 1 / 1 0 / 1 2 - F O R P R O O F O N LY
