Troubleshooting

Condition
The machine doesn't
run.
Computer display
screen is not clear.
The needle thread
breaks.
The bobbin thread
breaks.
The needle breaks.
Thread tension is
incorrect.
Skipped stitches.
Slipping fabric.
The fabric is not
feeding smoothly.
1. The machine is not plugged in.
2. No stitch has been selected.
3. The bobbin winding shaft is not pushed fully to the left.
4. The needle or bobbin has run out of thread.
5. When making a buttonhole, the buttonhole lever is not lowered.
6. The automatic bobbin winder cover is open.
7. The presser foot is not lowered.
8. The foot control is plugged in when start key is pressed.
9. The foot control has been pressed when embroidery unit is
attached.
1. LCD contrast is not properly adjusted.
1. The needle thread is not threaded properly or wrong spool cap is
used.
2. Thread is knotted, tangled or of poor quality.
3. The needle thread tension is too tight.
4. The needle is bent or blunt.
5. The needle is incorrectly inserted.
6. The thread is too heavy for the needle.
7. The needle thread and the bobbin thread are not placed back
under the presser foot when starting to sew.
1. The bobbin thread is not treaded properly in the bobbin case.
2. Dust or lint has collected in the bobbin case.
3. The bobbin is damaged and doesn't turn smoothly.
1. The needle is incorrectly inserted.
2. The needle is bent or blunt.
3. The needle clamp screw is loose.
4. The needle thread tension is too tight.
5. The fabric and threads are not pulled to the back when sewing is
finished.
6. The needle is too fine for the fabric being sewn.
7. The correct presser foot is not being used.
8. The fabric is pulled during sewing.
1. Machine is not properly treaded.
2. Bobbin thread is not properly treaded.
3. Thread spool cap is not properly attached.
4. Machine usage option screen has been re-set.

sewn.
4. A stretch needle is not being used for sewing stretch, very fine
fabrics and synthetics.

8. The fabric is not pulled taut in the embroidery frame.
9. Stabilizer is not being used.
10. Dust or lint has collected under the needle plate.
