2: Before You Install
Before you install the product, the site should be prepared for installation. Examine the
location where you intend to install it. You must be certain that the area is level and of
solid construction. In addition, a dedicated source of electrical power must be located
near the installation site.
Location Requirements
Note: The Benchtop Evidence Drying Cabinet is equipped with leg levelers to ease
level cabinet installation. It should be placed onto a flat surface for proper cabinet
alignment and door operation.
Clearance Requirements
A minimum clearance of at least 6 inches (150 mm) is suggested on the top and both
sides of the product for service. There should be 36 inches (914 mm) of clearance at
the front of the cabinet to allow the door to swing open without hitting any obstructions.
