The common service operations necessary to maintain the EDC for peak performance
are listed below.
Routine Maintenance Schedule
Activity
Disinfect interior surfaces (with suitable
chemical disinfectant).
Clean door and surface of UV lamp
with appropriate glass cleaner.
Operate cabinet blower, noting if the
Filter System Light turns on.
Ensure the cabinet water shut off valve
is in the off position.
Using 70% alcohol solution, wipe down
cabinet exterior.
Check prefilters, replace both if
needed.
Replace HEPA and granular activated
carbon filters, if needed.
Have the cabinet recertified by a
qualified technician.
