External Television Connection

Your NEC Versa TXi is equipped with a TV Out port and a transfer cable that allow
you to use a television as an external display device in the Windows environment. The
transfer cable allows you to use an RCA-to-RCA cable to connect to a standard RCA
input jack on your television or VCR.
The external monitor port supports 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768 display settings.
However, for optimal viewing, set the screen resolution to 640x480 when the video
output device is a television.
To change display settings, access Start, Settings, Control Panel, Display, and select the
Settings tab.
Follow these steps to connect your television as an external display device.
Connect one end of the TV Out transfer cable to the TV Out (RCA) port on your
