Set as Ring Tune

This option allows you to set your phone's ring tune. This represents the sound that plays when you receive a call.

Highlight the sound file you want to allocate as your ring tune.
Press MENU (Options Menu) and 5.
Highlight and select 1 (Line 1) or 2 (Line 2), depending upon which line you want to allocate the selected sound (ALS only).

Set as Message Tune

This option allows you to set your phone's message tune. This represents the sound that plays when you receive a message.

Highlight the sound file you want to allocate as your message tune.
Press MENU (Options Menu) and 6.

Other

The Other folder allows you to save content which the phone does not recognize as pictures or music. Note that some websites may incorrectly identify pictures or music
that the NEC a232 phone displays or plays. In this case, you may have the ability display or play content in the Other folder.
You cannot view the files saved in the Other option, but you can view the file's details and send the file as an attachment in an email.
Examples of other files that may be saved are Excel, Power Point, RFT, etc.
With the Other Options menu, you may rename the file or delete it.
