Web browser Settings

The Browser Settings establish how you want the Web browser to function while surfing the Internet.

Press MENU (Main), 1, 7, and 5 to display the Settings menu.

Link Referral

To set the HTTP link referral header of a webpage,
*
Highlight and select the Link referral option to display the Link referral screen.
Select Allow to display the HTTP link referral header. Do not allow if you do not want the HTTP link referral header to display.

Cookies

To set the option to download cookies from the Internet when accessing a website,
*
Highlight and select Cookies option to display the Cookie screen.
Highlight and select the on option and return to the Browser settings menu. If you do not want to download cookies, select the off option and return to the
Browser settings menu.

Downloads

To disable the downloading of images, sounds, and objects from the Internet to your wireless phone,
*
Highlight and select Download option to display the Download menu.
Highlight and select a download option (Pictures, Sounds, or Objects).
Highlight and select Enable to download the selected download option so that images, sounds or objects downloaded and display on your wireless phone. Highlight
and select Disable if you do not want images, sound or objects to download.

Security

To enable the security settings when browsing the Internet,

Highlight and select Security option to display the Security menu.
Highlight and select the security option (Secure prompt or Authentication).
Highlight and select the On radio button and return to the Security menu.
To view the current certificate or the root certificates,
*
Highlight and select Security option to display the Security menu.
Highlight and select the certificate option to display the appropriate screen to view the certificate information.
Press CLR to return to the Security menu.
