Phone Number, Email, or URL in Message Text

Making a Call to a Phone Number

From the Inbox, highlight a folder and press
Press
(Down) navigation key to highlight the phone number. (See Flags.)
Press Softkey1(Select).
From the Options menu, press 1 to call the number; press 2 to send a message to the number; or, press 3 to save the number to your phonebook as a (1) New
contact or (2) Existing contact (this option is not available if the highlighted phone number is already stored).

Creating a Message

To create a new message from a phone number or Email address in the message text:

From the Inbox, highlight a folder and press

(Down) navigation key to highlight the phone number or email address. (See Flags.)
Press MENU (Options Menu).

Access URL in Message Text

To launch the browser from an URL (Uniform Resource Locator) in the message text:

From the Inbox, highlight a folder and press
Press
(Down) navigation key to highlight the URL. (See Flags.)
Press Softkey1(Select) to open the highlighted URL .
(Select) to display the message view screen.
(Select) to display the message view screen.
(Select) to display the message view screen.
Press
(Down) navigation key to start and
search forwards in a message or Email for a
phone number or Email address.
Press
(UP) navigation key to search
backwards in a message or Email for a phone
number or Email address.
Press CLR (Clear/Back) key to end the
number search and exit the message or Email.
Option menu to display depends on whether a
phone number or Email is highlighted in
message text.
