Engine Stop Switch (02_38)

This button to stop the engine should be
used only in case of emergency. It is im-
portant that you familiarize yourself with
this button so that you can use it easily in
case the throttle grip is malfunctioning or
there are other engine problems.

IN THE CASE THAT THE THROTTLE
GRIP IS MALFUNCTIONING
STUCK, ALWAYS TURN OFF THE EN-
GINE USING THE ENGINE STOP BUT-
TON.
CONTACT AN Authorized Aprilia Deal-
er FOR REPAIRS. NOT FOLLOWING
THIS ADVICE COULD LEAD TO SERI-
OUS ACCIDENTS CAUSING SERIOUS
INJURY AND EVEN DEATH.
IMPORTANT
NEVER USE THE ENGINE STOP BUT-
TON TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE
WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO START THE EN-
GINE WITH THE ENGINE STOP BUT-
TON IN THE RELEASE POSITION.
IMPORTANT
TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE USE ON-
LY THE IGNITION SWITCH.

Interrupteur d'arret moteur

Utiliser l'interrupteur d'arrêt moteur pour
arrêter le moteur seulement en cas d'ur-
gence. Il est essentiel de se familiariser
avec ce bouton afin de pouvoir l'utiliser
promptement en cas d'enrayage de la
poignée d'accélérateur ou d'autres pro-
blèmes affectant le moteur.
