Chapter 6 LCD Menus: Advanced

6.4.1 Auto Provision Active

When the auto provision feature is set to ON, the V300 then receives all the information it
needs to be immediately usable from the SIP server to which it is registered. This is a zero-
configuration option that automatically determines the phone's extension number, IP address,
and other relevent network data. However, before this feature can be fully utilized the SIP
server must be configured in advance to provide the settings needed by the V300.
Select Adv Setting > Auto Prov > Active and enter the password when prompted. The
following screen displays.

to toggle auto provisioning OFF and ON.

6.4.2 Protocol

Select Adv Setting > Auto Prov > Protocol. The following screen displays.

to toggle auto provisioning HTTP, HTTPS, and TFTP.

6.4.3 Auto Provisioning Server Address

Select Adv > Auto Prov > Serv Addr. The following screen displays.

to configure the auto provisioning server's IP address.
If you make a mistake, use the PHONEBOOK key to delete your entry one number at a time
(you can use the asterix key [*] to enter periods). Press

Select this option if the SIP server to which your V300 is registered uses
HTTPS as its auto provisioning protocol.
