    Innovators in Agriculture Section 10: Introduction Splendimo 550 P mowers are designed solely for use in mowing agricultural crops. These machines are not equipped with any means of crop conditioning. Swath width is adjustable with the use of a swath board or swath wheel.
  • Page 18 Innovators in Agriculture • Lely Splendimo 550 P trailed mowers attach to lower links of tractor 3-point hitch. Lower half (2) of swivel gearbox pivots from side to side independently of top half. This allows tight turns in any direction with no concern of damage to PTO shaft (1).
  • Page 19 Cutter bars are fitted with mower discs, complete with the Lely SPLENDIMO CLIP quick-change system (1). The cutter bar is composed of cutting units according to the modular Lely system. These elements as well as the intermediate spacers are torqued together by a connecting rod (2).
