Simple Recording Mode
Select a single or multiple time blocks:
• Mouse Control: Click a single block to
open the Recording Type Menu. Click
and Drag a block of times to configure
multiple channels and times at once.
• Remote Control & Front Panel:
Navigate to the Channel Block section,
and the entire block will be highlighted
with a White outline:
Press the ENTER button to access the
Time Blocks - the first hour on Channel 1
will be highlighted in Yellow.
Navigate to the desired time block, and
press the ENTER button to activate the
block - if a single block is desired, press
ENTER a second time.
To select multiple blocks, use the arrows
to drag the cursor until the desired time
blocks are selected and press the
ENTER key.
The Recording Selection menu will open.
Select ONE of:
• None
• Continuous Recording
• Motion Recording
• Alarm Recording
Once a selection has been made, the
Recording Selection window will close.

Advanced Recording

Recording Operation
The Recording Operation Menu allows the
user to switch between Simple and
Advanced Modes, set the Recording
Schedule, and change the Pre and Post
Event Recording times.
• RECORDING MODE - Changes the
Recording
mode
Advanced.
• SCHEDULE MODE- Sets the Scheduled
Recording Mode to Daily or Weekly:
If you set the Schedule Mode to Daily, all
settings made to the Continuous/Motion
& Alarm Setup menus will affect all days
in the same way.
If you set the Schedule Mode to Weekly,
the settings can be set differently for
each day of the week.
• PRE EVENT RECORDING - When an
alarm is detected, the Pre Alarm will
begin recording before the Alarm was
detected (retrieved from video cache).
The Pre Alarm Recording Time can be
set to between 1~5 seconds.
• POST EVENT RECORDING - When an
alarm is detected, the Post Alarm will
remain recording for the specified time.
The Post Alarm Recording Time can be
set to between 5~180 seconds.
