6.7. COUNTERWEIGHT CABLE ON MULTI POWER

1. Disassemble the barbell, carrying out the
assembly procedure of paragraph 3.3.3.
"M853 / M953 Multi Power" in reverse
order.
2. Using a 2.5-mm Allen wrench, back off the
fixing screws of the plastic cover a, shown in
the figure.
3. Also remove the cover on the outer side of
the frame.
At this point it is recommended to rest
the machine on its rear side, to reduce
the vertical clearance required.
4. Use an 8-mm wrench to back off the nut e
and lock nut c on the adjuster pin of the inner
counterweight guide rods.
5. Using a 4-mm L-shaped Allen wrench, back
off the screws b.
6. Using a 5-mm Allen wrench, back off the
three screws d securing the lower blocks of
the counterweight guide rods.
7. Repeat the operation on the upper part of the
frame.
