3-Identify which kind of selector pin is installed on the bench, by using the pictures below. Picture
1a shows the old version, while picture 1b shows the latest version.
 If the selector pin of the bench is the OLD VERSION (1a): update the pin with the code
SH0000671, which is shown in (1b). For details see appendix b: how to replace the old
knob-pin group with the new knob-pin group sh0000671.
NOTE: the first P820 bench with the new pin (1b) has SN P820 03000016).
 If the selector pin of the bench is the NEW VERSION (1b): check the presence of the glue
along the thread of the two grub screws (D). If not present, apply Loctite 2700 or 270 or
strong/permanent glue. Then, install the knob to the selector pin by making sure that the two
grub screws (D) nest into the 2 slots on the inside of the knob. Check that the knob rotates
within 10 degrees. (see figures below)
