Checking and configuring the measuring system

The measuring system can be tested and configured with the mobile service unit.
Connection of the MiniCODER and operation of the mobile service unit are
described in the operating instructions for the mobile service unit (reference
documents → page
 Connect the MiniCODER to the mobile service unit.
Configuration of the measuring system if necessary
 Enter the tooth number.
 Enter the resolution.
Checking the measuring system
 Turn the target wheel and check the function of the MiniCODER and target wheel.
 Check assignment of the direction of rotation.
 If necessary, start a new calibration process, check the air gap and repeat the in-
stallation.
 Ensure that no error message is displayed (Alarm and warning table
