3.1

General

MiniCODER und ferromagnetic measuring scale form a measuring system. The
MiniCODER scans the ferromagnetic measuring scale without contact and detects
the direction of rotation, speed and position.
Prerequisites for proper functioning of the measuring system:
● The MiniCODER must match the module, the number of teeth, the reference
mark and the width of the measuring scale.
● The MiniCODER must be mounted symmetrically on the measuring scale.
● A defined air gap must be maintained between the MiniCODER and the measur-
ing scale.
