Preparing assembly

 Remove the MiniCODER and suitable distance gauge from the original packaging.

Cleaning the mounting surface

 Thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces on the mounting fixture and the

MiniCODER as well as the fastening elements (screws, spring washers and wash-

ers) to achieve good electrical conductivity.

5.4.3

 Slide spring washers and washers over the threads of the two screws.

 Apply threadlocker to the threads of both screws to prevent them from coming

loose unintentionally.

Positioning and inserting the MiniCODER

 Insert both screws into the slotted holes in the flange.

 Place the distance gauge in the installation space on the target wheel.

 Insert the MiniCODER with the two guide noses into the guide groove of the

mounting surface and push the MiniCODER against the distance gauge.
