Material damage due to asymmetrical installation!
If the target wheel is not arranged symmetrically to the measuring surface of the
MiniCODER, measuring errors may occur. To ensure that the measuring system
functions properly, the MiniCODER must be precisely adjusted.
Possible mounting errors
Effect of the installation position on the signal quality:
Air gap
amplitude level tracks 1 and 2
Horizontal angular offset
Amplitude ratio track 1/2 to reference track
Avoid possible mounting errors:
● Align the MiniCODER symmetrically to the target wheel, the lines of symmetry
must match.
● Observe the specified limit values.
The MiniCODER can be tested and configured with the mobile service unit.
