Causes
The back stapler of the
Booklet Finisher is out of
staples.
The front stapler of the
Booklet Finisher is out of
staples.
The printer is out of toner.
A communication error
was sent from the engine
to the controller.
An attempt to check the ra-
dio signal was made while
the communication mode
was set to [802.11 Ad hoc] in
the Maintenance menu.
The selected tray is set to
1 sided tray when duplex
mode is set.
Cannot print because
main sheets and designa-
tion sheets are set to the
same tray.
The printer detected that
the user-specified paper
type is not the same as the
paper type specified in the
driver.
The printer detected that
the actual paper type and
size are not the same as
the paper tray size and pa-
per type setting.
Solutions
Add staples to the back stapler of the
Booklet Finisher.

Alternatively, cancel staple mode us-
ing {Form Feed}, or cancel the job.
Add staples to the front stapler of the
Booklet Finisher.

Alternatively, cancel staple mode us-
ing {Form Feed}, or cancel the job.
Replace the toner bottle.
See p.81 "Replacing Toner".
Turn the power switch to Standby,
and then to ON. If the message ap-
pears again, call your service provid-
er.
To check the radio signal , select In-
frastructure in the communication
mode settings.
Cancel duplex mode. Alternatively,
select another tray using {Form
Feed}, or cancel the job.
Press the {Reset} key.
Cancel the job and change the set-
ting for the Main sheet tray and des-
ignation sheet tray, and then try
printing the job again.
Load the indicated tray with the cor-
rect paper, or change the paper type
using the Paper Type menu on the
operation panel. Alternatively, select
another tray using {Form Feed}, or
cancel the job.
