Troubleshooting
Problem
Paper gets wrinkles.
Paper is not fed from the
selected tray.
It takes too much time to re-
sume printing.
Causes and Solutions
Paper is damp. Use paper that has been stored properly.

Paper is too thin. Use recommended paper.

There may be a gap between the side guide and the paper, or be-
tween the end guides and the paper in the paper tray. Make sure
there are no gaps.

The fusing unit is deteriorated or damaged. Replace the unit. Con-
tact your service representative.
If you are using a Windows operating system, printer driver set-
tings override those set using the display panel. Set the desired
input tray using the printer driver.

The data is so large or complex that it takes time to process. If the
Data In indicator is blinking, data is being processed. Simply wait
until printing resumes.
If OHP transparencies or glossy paper are being used, printing
takes more time to start.
