Clearing Z2 Misfeeds
R CAUTION:
• The inside of the machine be-
comes very hot. Do not touch the
parts with a label indicating a
"hot surface". Touching a "hot
surface" could result in a burn.
When "Z2" Is Indicated (1)
When a paper misfeed occurs in the
area indicated by Z2, the machine au-
tomatically delivers the misfed paper
to the lower right cover. Follow the
procedure below to clear the paper
misfeed.

Open the lower right cover.

Move the blue lever (A) up and
down to remove the misfed pa-
per.

Press the part labelled "PUSH" to
close the lower right cover.

If "Z2" is still indicated, open the
duplex reversal unit.
Note
❒ If the finisher is installed, first
detach it from the machine.

Check if there is any paper in the
opening to the duplex reversal
unit.

Close the duplex reversal unit.
