Sprint Major - Digi60
If no LEDs are on, check the mains supply and the fuses on the PCB. For wiring connections see
pages 16, 17, 19 & 20.
ALARM SOUNDS CONTINUALLY

Check calibration of
pressure switch.
Check wiring switch.
If no switch is fitted
check dip switch

Digi-60 Alarm System Faults

Foil sensor LED on
(If sensor is fitted)
YES
Foil has run out.
Change foil.

The green LED is on.
The foil sensor is on.

Cover sensor, a red LED
should come on. (Sensor)
If yes, and the foil has run

Possible LED failure.
Open the type holder door to check
the door sensor. Remove foil to
check the sensor is working.

(if the sensor is fitted)
Close door and replace foil.
Disconnect 6 pin connector from
the printer, to check the door LED
and the heater LED should go off
Foil LED off, & foil run out.
(If foil sensor fitted
Remove the rear cover of the Digi60
NO
controller. The voltage across
"D1" (- Brown) & "F2" (+Pink) should
be 24 volts dc. If less than 18 volts
then change the main Digi60 PCB.
Cover the foil sensor, then measure
NO
the voltage across "D1" (- Brown) &
"F1" (+ Black) if less than 18 volts
dc change the sensor.
