Meaning of the notations a b/c and d/c :

a = 3, b=1 and c=2. a is the whole part of x, in other words x= 3 +

Your calculator allows you to carry out a range of arithmetic operations that
are expressed as or converted into fractions.
a, b and c can be replaced by a calculation in parentheses. However, in
certain cases you will be able to obtain a decimal result but not a fractional
result.
