The calculation is carried out as follows:
200 [SHIFT][STO] [M] ->
5 [x] 12 [M+]
9 [x] 6 [M+]
2 [x] 24 [SHIFT] [M-]
[RCL] [M]
3 [.] 5 [x] [RCL] [M] [=] ->
Temporary Memories (A-F, X, Y)
[STO] [Y]
[RCL] [Y] or
[ALPHA][Y][=]
[SHIFT][CLR] 1 [=]
Your calculator has 8 temporary memories namely, A, B, C, D, E, F, X and Y.
These temporary memories allow you to store data to be recalled and used
in future calculations.
You can use [SHIFT][STO], [RCL] and [ALPHA] for each of the keys [A], [B],
[C], [D], [E], [F], [X] and [Y].
Note: the memories [E], [F], [X] and [Y] are used by other functions, which
concern the generation of random numbers and the conversion of Cartesian/
polar coordinates. It is important to take note of this in order to avoid any
eventual interference between different calculations. For more information
on these functions, please refer to the corresponding paragraphs.
E.g.:
1 € = 140 Yens, how much is 33 775 Yens worth in Euros?
How much is 2 750 € in Yens?
140 [SHIFT] [STO] [Y]
33775 [÷][RCL][Y][=]
2750 [x] [RCL][Y][=]
Calculation of the surface area of a circle with radius r=3
3 [SHIFT][STO] [Y]
[SHIFT][π] [ALPHA] [Y] [x
Each time you use the [SHIFT][STO], [RCL] and [ALPHA] function keys, the
corresponding symbol will appear on the display screen to indicate that the
function has been activated.
