Before starting a new non-statistical calculation, check that you are in the
normal mode by pressing [ON] to clear the screen.

The alphanumeric line in your calculator allows you to visualize the calcula-
tion in progress as well as check and edit your calculations after having ob-
tained the results. The number of calculations saved depends on the length
of the calculations undertaken, your calculator being able to save up to 79
operations in its memory.
The content of all the lines in memory is deleted in the following cases:
• If you press [SHIFT] [OFF].
• If the calculator turns itself off.
• While changing modes (statistics mode).
Note : the conversion lines (angles, coordinates) are not memorized.
Comments on [SHIFT] [INS] :
• The cursor changes as long as the insertion is activated
• You can use [DEL] while the insertion is activated. In this case, [DEL] will
delete the character found to the left of the cursor.
• The insertion is deactivated when you press [SHIFT][INS], or [=] if you wish
to obtain the result directly.
Comments on Input Capacity:
You can input up to 79 characters in a single calculation; even in the case
of a function such as the sin-1 function, which necessitates that 2 keys be
pressed and is then displayed by using a number of letters on the screen,
the calculator will consider it as being a single character only. You can
check this by observing the movement of the cursor. If your calculation is
extremely long, it is better to divide it up into various sections.

Clears all the memories of the calculator.
Returns to default calculation mode.

When you press a key, the corresponding text/number will
replace the text/number found to the left of the cursor.
Deletes the character found at the cursor position.
Inserts a character to the left of the cursor position.
