CAUSES
1.
Overload of dryer due to high
volume flow.
2.
Operating pressure is too low.
1.
Pressure drop increases at
the compressed air side;
volume flow decreases.

CORRECTION
1.
Check dryer capacity.
Resize the dryer according to
demands of the application
if necessary.
2.
Increase operating pressure,
check dryer capacity.
1.
Disconnect unit and maintain
compressed air flow.
After approximately 1/2 hour,
the pressure drop will return
to the normal value. Restart
the unit.
If the heat exchanger ices up
again, the control system
must be readjusted.
An exact adjustment can only
be carried out by a service
technician.
