PROBLEM

CAUSES
1.
No power to unit.
1.
Blocked discharge pipe, pressure
below required minimum.
2.
Bypass line valve is open.
3.
Bypass line valve is leaking.
4.
Dryer is installed downstream
of compressed air receiver.
5.
Continuous overload due to
excessive volume flow or
excessive compressed air
inlet temperature
1.
Electrical overload.

TROUBLESHOOTING
CORRECTION
1.
Check and establish electrical
power to the unit.
If the power supply is ok,
call authorized Quincy
service.
1.
Clean the condensate drain
with a neutral cleaning
agent.
2.
Close bypass line valve.
3.
Seal or replace bypass line
valve.
4.
Increase dryer capacity or
install dryer upstream of
compressed air receiver
(observe increased compressed
air inlet temperature).
5.
Check dryer capacity.
Resize the dryer according
to demands of the application
if necessary.
1.
Determine cause of overload.
and eliminate. Dryer will
return to operation mode
automatically after protection
device has cooled down.
NOTE: You cannot immediately
reconnect unit, since protection
device requires minimum period
to cool down to an admissible
operating temperature.
