Cleaning Air Cooled Condenser

Cleaning Automatic Condensate Drain (Floater)

Air cooled condenser fins should be cleaned from inside to outside the
cabinet with one or more of the following:
• compressed air blow gun (37 psig max.)
• brush and/or an industrial vacuum cleaner
• steam cleaning (may be necessary for heavy deposits)
The condensate drain must be dismounted before it can be cleaned.
Step 1)
Disconnect refrigerated dryer from compressed air system.
Never assume equipment is safe to work on just because it is not
operating. It could restart at any time.
Step 2)
Open service access.
Step 3)
Depressurize and wait.
within the pressurized system to allow the system to be com-
pletely depressurized. NEVER remove a plug to relieve the
pressure!
Step 4)
Remove condensate pipe.
Step 5)
Unscrew condensate tank.
Step 6)
Clean condensate tank.
To mount the condensate tank, follow the above steps in reverse order.
