Foreword
This manual contains information and recommendations for installing,
operating and servicing the refrigerated compressed air dryer (referred
to below as dryer).
The information, specifications and illustrations in this manual are
in accordance with the information in effect at the time of printing.
Quincy Compressor reserves the right to change the design and specifi-
cations without notice and without incurring obligation.
Please read this manual carefully before locating and installing your
dryer. Any questions or problems not covered herein may be directed to
the manufacturer. Be prepared to provide the Model and Serial Number
of your dryer when calling. Quincy Compressor will not be responsible
for parts returned without proper authorization.
Product Information
Untreated compressed air containing contaminants such as water, com-
pressor oil, rust, chemical contaminants, and bacterial growth will cause
corrosion and product contamination. With proper filtration and the
integration of a Quincy Compressor refrigerated air dryer, contaminants
will be reduced to a harmless level, equipment will stay cleaner, not cor-
rode, and last longer.
The usability and life cycle of the refrigerated compressed air-dryer,
as well as the avoidance of premature repairs depends on proper opera-
tion, care and competent repair/ service.
Due to our position as suppliers of components, we can not always
determine the final usage and total range of product applications. We
constantly improve our products to state of the art technology and
assume that our products are free from defects in the sense of product
liability. However, it cannot be excluded that during faulty operation in
critical areas of application, especially when danger to life and limb of
persons is involved, additional safety measures may be necessary.
Therefore, we request the user of our components / units to inform us
about the application of our products in order to initiate additional
safety measures, if necessary.
