Important Warnings: Read Before Installing

Qualified To Perform Tasks
The product should be installed, adjusted and
removed by a Permobil-authorized technician or
a clinician. If the technician or clinician is unable
to perform any tasks in this manual, they should
seek assistance by contacting their distributor or
Customer Support.
Lock the Wheels
The wheels on the wheelchair MUST be locked
before installing, adjusting or removing the
AGILITY and/or the Direct Mount Hardware from
the wheelchair.
Power Off the Wheelchair
The wheelchair MUST be powered off before
installing, adjusting or removing the AGILITY
and/or the Direct Mount Hardware from the
wheelchair.
Tighten All Hardware
If the hardware is not securely tightened, the
AGILITY may shift up or down during operation,
which may reduce or eliminate the product's
benefits. After installation and adjustment is
complete, and before operating the wheelchair,
make sure all hardware is securely tightened.
Refer to the recommended torque specifications.
Dropping, Pinching, Crushing Risk
The AGILITY with Direct Mount Hardware is
heavy. To avoid injury, hold securely and use
extreme caution when installing, adjusting,
removing or otherwise handling the AGILITY
with Direct Mount Hardware. Ask for assistance
if needed.

Confirm the Correct Height
If AGILITY is removed from the wheelchair
for any reason, it must be reattached at the
prescribed height. Before removing the AGILITY,
mark the height of the back shell (using tape or
a marking pen) to ensure the product is correctly
reinstalled. Follow all instructions in this manual
to reattach the AGILITY to the Direct Mount
Hardware and/or the wheelchair.
Interference During Recline
Interference during recline may result in: the
AGILITY backrest slipping or instability; injury
to the user; damage to the AGILITY or to
accessories attached to the AGILITY; or damage
to the wheelchair. Check for interference during
recline when: 1) installing the AGILITY for the
first time, 2) adding any accessories to the
AGILITY, or 3) making any adjustments to the
height of the AGILITY. For reprogramming or
adjustments to the recline angle range, consult
with a Permobil-authorized technician.
Use the AGILITY Cover
The AGILITY Cover should always be used with
the AGILITY. Refer to the instructions provided
with the ROHO AGILITY Back Support.
While installed on the wheelchair, the bottom
handle of the AGILITY Cover should NOT hang
down where it could become caught in the
wheelchair components. The bottom handle
should be attached to the cover with the hook
and loop fastener strips or it should be tucked
into the lower flap.

Check Skin Frequently
Skin/soft tissue breakdown can occur due to
a number of factors, which vary by individual.
Check skin frequently, at least once a
day,especially those areas covering bony
prominences. Redness, bruising, or darker areas
(when compared to normal skin) may indicate
superficial or deep tissue injury and needs to
be addressed. If there is any discoloration to
skin/soft tissue, STOP USE immediately. If
the discoloration does not disappear within 30
minutes after disuse, immediately consult a
healthcare professional.
Center of Balance
Attaching any object, including the AGILITY
Direct Mount Hardware with or without the
AGILITY, will add weight that may affect the
wheelchair's center of balance. Check with a
Permobil-authorized technician or a clinician to
determine whether the wheelchair should be
modified. Proceed with extreme caution if the
AGILITY has been installed: The wheelchair's
center of balance can significantly affect the
stability, operation and safety of the wheelchair;
if the wheelchair becomes unbalanced, injury to
the user or damage to the wheelchair may result.
