During your cleaning and blowing, keep away from the teflon tape. Rarely will it need to be
replaced. This is when it is flaking off. Cut off any little loose pieces that are waving around
in the wind because they will cause jumpy PM readings.
If you have to replace the teflon tape, carefully clean the old tape completely from the treads,
cut the tape to the width of the threads and wrap the tape tightly and clockwise around the
threads once and overlapping by a few mm. The tape is wrapped on the threads in a
clockwise direction so that when it is installed into the sensor body, it does not unravel.
