28-20-00 6-1 INSPECTION: FUEL FILTER

Engine cowlings must be removed, see
SPECIAL TOOLS AND CONSUMABLE MATERIALS
None
PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY MEASURES
WARNING: Fuel and fuel vapors are HAZARDOUS MATERIAL, must be treated and handled accordingly,
and constitute a danger to health and hardware!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Depending on engine variant and optional equipment, number and type of installed
fuel filters may differ!
PROCEDURES
1 Remove and inspect gascolator filter.
2 In order to do so, clamp the fuel line to prevent fuel from spilling.
3 If contamination is found, clean the filter gauze. Use brake cleaner and compressed air applied
4 In case of residual contamination or damage, strainer has to be replaced, see
