Troubleshooting guide
Caution
When the main PCB, flow meter or motor is replaced, the flow generator must be
recalibrated and tested. Follow the procedures in Section 7 Calibration procedures to

calibrate the unit, then repeat tests 6-17 in Section 3 General inspection and servicing.
If any other components are replaced, repeat the relevant tests in Section 3 General
inspection and servicing
Note:
The performance tests in the service software are a valuable tool in determining the
possible cause of flow generator problems.
Problem/Cause
No display

Flexible cable from LCD not inserted properly into
connector

Faulty LCD

Flexible cable from LCD damaged
Buttons not working or intermittent

• Pills on the back of the keypad or LCD have been
