    The ResMed VPAP IVST is a portable ventilator. VPAP machines are used by people who need breathing support during sleep. TYPES OF VENTILATION (MODES): Spontaneous mode: the machine will deliver breaths in response to your breathing efforts. Timed mode: the machine will deliver a set number of breaths every minute.

    REAR PANEL: Air inlet and filter Air inlet and filter DC power socket AC power socket AC Power socket OPERATION: Never move the breathing machine when there is water in the humidifier chamber. Spilling water into the machine may cause mechanical failure. ALWAYS remove and empty the chamber before moving the machine.

    CLEANING & MAINTENANCE: Daily: If using a humidifier; disconnect the tubes, remove the chamber and empty the water; then remove the base of the chamber and dry both parts before reassembling them. Fill the chamber with WARM water before placing it back on the heater base when you next use the machine.
