Chapter 4: UEFI BIOS
SMBIOS Event Log Standard Settings
Log System Boot Event (Available when "SMBIOS Event Log" is set to Enabled)
Select Enabled to log system boot events. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
MECI (Available when "SMBIOS Event Log" is set to Enabled)
Enter the increment value for the multiple event counter. Enter a number between 1 to 255.
The default setting is 1. (MECI is the abbreviation for Multiple Event Count Increment.)
METW (Available when "SMBIOS Event Log" is set to Enabled)
This feature is used to determine how long (in minutes) should the multiple event counter
wait before generating a new event log. Enter a number between 0 to 99. The default setting
is 60. (METW is the abbreviation for Multiple Event Count Time Window.)
Note: Please reboot the system for the changes above to take effect.
View SMBIOS Event Log
This feature allows you to view the event in the system event log. Select this feature and
press <Enter> to view the status of an event in the log. The following information is displayed:
DATE / TIME / ERROR CODE / SEVERITY.
