5. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

5.1.

SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

For correct installation of the machine, make sure that:
1. The machine is installed on a level surface that is free of vibrations and has sufficient carrying
capacity for the combined weight of the machine and user.
2. The place of installation is not dusty or sandy.
3. The place of installation complies with the operating temperature and humidity conditions set
out in paragraph 2.3.
4. The mains voltage must match the value specified on the machine rating plate.
5. The electrical system must be correctly earthed.
6. The wall outlet used should be reserved for the machine and have a rating of at least 150 VA.
7. Position the mains lead of the machine where it will not be underfoot. For this purpose it is
recommended to use the raceways supplied with the machine.
5.2.

LIFTING AND HANDLING THE MACHINE

To move the machine, use standard lifting and handling equipment.
WARNING: The machine must be moved with great care, due to the risk of it tipping
over.
Lift the machine from the seat side with a pallet truck or fork lift, and if necessary use the wheels
provided to move the machine.
ATTENTION: It is recommended to place some padded material between the frame and
the lifting equipment.
ATTENTION: When lifting the machine, do not exert pressure against the weight stack
guard or other fragile parts, and do not pull or push the PC bracket arm.
5.3.

INSTALLATION

To correctly install the machine, proceed as follows:
1. Ensure that the specifications and requirements for installation have been met (see paragraph
5.1. "Specifications and requirements").
2. The machine is supplied fully assembled, packed inside a box, wrapped in cellophane and fixed
to a wooden pallet.
