8. Set the object nmsReportOwner.1 to the string Central Site. This is optional
and the value of the string is Set at the discretion of the NMS manager.
9. The object nmsReportNotify.1 may be Set to the value enabled. If enabled,
Step 11 is not necessary. A trap numbered 301 or 302 will be sent to the
owner IP address.
10. Set the object nmsReportEntryStatus.1 to the value valid(1).
11. Get the value of the object nmsReportStatus.1. When the value has changed
from busy to reportDone or reportFail, the action is completed.
12. Set the object nmsReportEntryStatus.1 to the value invalid(4). The table
entry is then free for use by another NMS manager, but the file created still
exists on the 6700 disk.
The NMS 6700 MIB contains Validity Object pairs. The first object indicates the
validity of the second object in the pair.

Contact 1 for the 6700 NMS.
Contact 2 for the 6700 NMS.
NMS read community name has
read-only access to all objects in the
6700 NMS MIB, except for one
object with no read access:
nmsAdminNmsWriteCommunity.
NMS write community name
provides full access to all objects in
the 6700 NMS MIB.
Base read community name string
used with Device MIB. When field is
empty, the device read community
name is equal to the device name.
Base write community name string
used with Device MIB. When field is
empty, the device write community
name is equal to the device name.
