1.2.a - Personnel qualifications

Operator
The term operator refers to a ge-
neric worker able to perform sim-
ple operations such as running
the machine and carrying out the
relative cleaning at the end of the
working shift.
Electrical/mechanical mainte-
nance technician
A technician qualified to operate
on the machine in order to repair
or replace parts which require the
removal of the protective cover.

1.2.b - Operator position

While using the machine, the op-
erator is position at the rear of the
machine with his/her hands on
the handle.

1.2.c - Protective clothing

- Use protective clothing as indi-
cated in the standards in force
in the country in which the ma-
chine is used.
1.2.d - General precautions for
transport and storage
- Transport and storage must
be carried out while protected
from weather.
- Do not place any other pack-
ages on top of the machine.
Temperature from 5°C to 40°;
humidity from 20% to 60%; baro-
metric pressure from 990hPa to
1040hPa.
1.2.e - General warnings before
use
- Before using the machine,
check that the fi xed safety
guards (covers) are always
correctly secured in position.
1.2.f - General safety instruc-
tions
- Plastic bags, polystyrene, pa-
per clips, etc. must not be left
within the reach of children, as
these are potential sources of
danger.
- Do not leave the unit exposed
to the elements.
- Do not use the unit if its opera-
tion is faulty. Take this to an
authorised technical support
centre.
- Do not immerse the unit into
water or other liquids.
