5.5 Position the patient

•
Make sure that the patient is wearing a frame.
• Remove the demo lenses for taking the image.
For a correct position the patient should stand in a natural, relaxed posture in front of VISUFIT 1000
Platform.
If the patient is correctly positioned:
→ The LED display in the camera section turns white.
→ The patient is shown from the front and sides within the displayed silhouette
[see Figure 12].
• Make sure that
the patient is standing in a relaxed position without any contact with VISUFIT 1000
•
Platform and
the eyes of the patient are not covered by hair or any objects.
•
• Inform the patient that when he looks into the viewing window, he
→ will see the fixation object shown in infinity and
→ must see a single fixation object.
