The user controls VISUFIT 1000 Platform via a network from a separate client device (iPad or PC). The
patient is positioned in front of VISUFIT 1000 Platform without contact with any parts of the device.
The user takes a picture of the patient for later processing with additional software products as given
in following table.

3.2 Scope of delivery

4 Installation

The complete installation and commissioning of the VISUFIT 1000 Platform (hardware and software,
network integration, installation of software on your PCs, connection to administration software,
etc.) must be performed by a specially qualified service technician on behalf of Carl Zeiss Vision
GmbH. When installing the device, please ensure that there is sufficient space around the device.
Please contact the service team to implement any changes for you at the place of installation.

5 Operation

5.1 Safety during operation

Damage to VISUFIT 1000 Platform
The device could be damaged, if moving parts of VISUFIT 1000 Platform collide with
persons or objects.
• Always ensure enough free space so that VISUFIT 1000 Platform can move
up and down without collision.
