Troubleshooting

System damage due to update process interruption
The device firmware can become seriously damaged if the device is losing its
connection to the i.COM/ZEISS Server or is being unexpectedly switched off during
a software update.
• If an update is running, the system must not be disconnected from the
power supply and / or LAN connection.

7.4 Repair

If you recognize any malfunction of VISUFIT 1000 Platform, inform the manufacturer or your service
technician immediately.
8 Troubleshooting

8.1 Faults with messages

During the use of VISUFIT 1000 Platform, error messages or warnings may appear if the intended
conditions are not given. Warnings are shown in a separate window. These warnings include both an
error description and a recommended action.
