Setting lowest position of microscope for safety

Finding ergonomic working position

Adjusting the tube

Rotate PD knob to adjust
pupillary distance (Unit: mm)

Adjust the suspension arm to
allowable lowest position
that is still safe for operation

Tighten the knob on the
right of the friction knob to
set the lowest position of
suspension arm

Adjust tube to a proper angle
Adjust the height of suspension arm and
the chair to bring the microscope to
working area. The user should keep his/her
back upright while working with the
microscope. The working distance (WD) of
the microscope can be varied from 200 to
430mm.
Adjust the focus to get a sharp image by
rotating the knurled ring of the varioskop
in
clockwise
or
directions.
Adjust tube to a proper angle
