SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Warning: Read the manual carefully before use. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in damage to the unit,
physical injury and/or damage to property. Store the manual in a safe place for future reference.
Wear eye protection.
Maintain a safe distance from
the rotating blade to avoid
injury.
Fire hazard. Gasoline is extremely
flammable.
Training
• Familiarise yourself with the functions of all the unit's control elements.
• Children are never allowed to use the machine. No person is allowed to use the machine unless they have read the instructions.
• Keep all bystanders and pets away from the work area.
Preparation
• Check the work area and remove all the debris.
• Before starting the engine, disengage all the clutches and set the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
• Wear protective clothing as well as safety anti-slip shoes in order to improve stability on slippery surfaces.
• Gasoline is extremely flammable. Handle fuel with care.
• Do not perform any adjustments on the unit while the engine is running.
• Wear safety glasses when operating the unit and when performing maintenance work.
Operation
• Keep hands and feet away from the rotating parts.
• Be especially careful when moving the unit over gravel pavement or sidewalks.
• In case the unit hits a hard object, stop the engine and comprehensively check whether the machine is damaged or not. If the unit is damaged, make sure it
is repaired before resuming operation of the machine.
• Keep proper footing to avoid slipping or falling.
• In case the machine vibrates intensely, stop the engine immediately and carry out an inspection to find the cause. Operate the unit again only after the cause
of the problem has been eliminated.
• Always switch off the engine before leaving the operation position, before clearing blocked blades and before performing inspections, maintenance and
repair work.
• Always switch off the engine and be sure that all running parts are at a standstill before clearing blocked blades, removing obstacles, performing maintenance
or repair work and checking the machine.
• The exhaust gas from the engine is harmful. Do not run the engine indoors.
• Make sure that all fenders and bumpers are in place and in good condition before operating the machine.
• Be careful not to till too deep and avoid moving the machine too fast in order to prevent overload.
• Don't operate the machine at high speed on slippery roads. Look backwards and operate carefully when reversing.
• Only the additional attachments and equipments permitted by the machine's manufacturer can be used.
• Do not operate the unit under poor vision or light conditions.
• Be careful when operating in hard land as the machine may be pushed forward when the blade enters the soil.
• Don't operate the machine on steep slopes.
• Be careful when operating the machine uphill and downhill.
Repair and storage
• Keep the machine, additional devices, and equipment in safe working condition.
• At regular intervals, check for loose bolts and tighten any loose bolts to ensure that the machine is in a safe working condition.
• Store the machine indoors, away from fire and flammable materials. Make sure the engine is cool before storing the machine indoors.
Machine condition
• Do not operate the machine if the control elements do not function as intended.
